Choose the right ticket before paying
The PETRONAS Twin Towers operator in Kuala Lumpur publishes its 2026 general NON-MALAYSIAN adult NORMAL admission at RM127 on weekdays and RM137 on weekends, while visitors with valid Malaysian MyKad pay just RM42 / RM45. These categories cannot be swapped without proper documents. Foreign adult Evening Experience costs RM157 weekday / RM167 weekend, a separate Priority Access adult option RM169, and premium Skybridge-only or Skybridge-plus-Level-86 products are sold differently. WARNING for OCTOBER 19, 2026: this Monday is an OFFICIAL CLOSED DAY; 5 October was also closed. The standard public hours Tuesday–Sunday are 09:00–22:30 with last admission 21:30; specified second, fourth or fifth Mondays may open only 09:00–20:00, so 'closed every Monday' or 'open every Monday' is wrong. Book a real timed ticket using eticket2.petronastwintowers.com.my from the operator's original admission page and arrive 15 minutes BEFORE the slot. No refund or rescheduling is promised for lateness.

How to book and use PETRONAS Twin Towers original operator fares and official checkout
- Verify the exact calendar before booking
October19, 2026 is listed as CLOSED despite the published selected-Monday operating exceptions.
- Distinguish normal admission from Evening Experience
The regular foreign weekday price RM127 is not the RM157 evening price or RM169 Priority Access.
- Pick visitor category using your REAL documents
The RM42 Malaysian weekday price requires MyKad/MyKid identity; a foreign passport holder uses general admission.
- Check child and senior categories individually
Foreign visitors aged 61+ are in the senior rate, children 2–12 in child, very young infants in free/child age policy.
- Follow original operator to eticket2 subdomain
The PETRONAS operator identifies its approved checkout and warns of unapproved ticket vendors.
- Choose date and exact admission slot
The tower operates timed batches; capacity can sell out separately for each departure.
- If you only want SkyBridge avoid accidental premium upsell
Premium Skybridge-only and Skybridge+86F packages are not the same as ordinary 86F observation entry.
- Arrive at least fifteen minutes BEFORE boarding
Official terms explicitly say late visitors can be denied and may not receive refunds or date changes.
- Find the lower concourse original ticketing area
PETRONAS operator gives Lower Ground Concourse at Kuala Lumpur City Centre rather than general Suria KLCC retail floors.
- Prepare for security scanning
All baggage is checked; visitors must not eat, drink, chew gum or smoke in the experience area.
- If using a wheelchair notify the operator before visiting
The original booking service lists advance email at skybridge@petronas.com.my for wheelchair assistance arrangements.
- Retain real non-refundable ticket/QR
No rescheduling or refund should be assumed unless the operator itself initiates the change.
Purchasing guidance, not real-time availability or admission guarantee. The actual provider's product-specific instructions take priority.
Do not assume a payment receipt alone is admission. The provider may separately issue QR tickets, wristbands, redemption vouchers or a mandatory visit-day reservation.

2026 foreign versus Malaysian ID is a huge real difference
PETRONAS Twin Towers' original admission matrix in October 2026 lists normal foreign adults RM127 weekday and RM137 weekend. The corresponding Malaysian MyKad/MyKid adult is RM42 or RM45. An English search result quoting 'Petronas tower RM42' is therefore not a universal price for arriving tourists.
Both tariffs can be legitimate but only under different entitlement requirements. The booking page states a person choosing Malaysian admission MUST show original MyKad/MyKid at the attraction; failure to match eligibility may mean paying the difference. Neither a hotel booking in Malaysia nor visiting an overseas Malaysian family grants someone local-national identity status.
Evening Experience and Priority are not the normal Skybridge tour
The normal foreign adult admission is separately tiered from foreign Evening Experience (RM157 weekday, RM167 weekend) and foreign adult Priority Access (RM169). They may include different session times or service levels; buying the highest line item is not compulsory to go to the 86th-floor observation deck.
The operator also advertises Premium Sky Access packages such as SkyBridge only RM130 or Skybridge plus Level-86 access RM230, with a merchandise-included alternative RM280. Its dedicated premium programme requires advance email booking and may not be sold over the normal walk-up counter, so no one should interpret a cheap RM130 label as an unlimited substitute for every conventional tour.
October 19 is a closed Monday, but not all Mondays are closed
The 2026 official calendar distinguishes Tuesday–Sunday opening from a handful of special second, fourth or fifth Mondays. It explicitly lists CLOSED MONDAYS October 5 and October 19, as well as November 2 and 16, 2026. For a visitor with a three-day Kuala Lumpur stay, a Monday could be a wasted trip despite an old travel site simply showing 09:00–22:30 every day.
On an actual open second, fourth or fifth Monday, the operator instead lists 09:00–20:00 with last admission at 19:00. Regular Tuesday–Sunday closing is 22:30 with last visitor admission 21:30. The operator reserves the ability to suspend capacity or tours for ceremonies, so always check exact calendar, not just the weekday.
Late arrival can wipe out a non-refundable ticket
PETRONAS uses timed-ticket batches and instructs visitors to appear at the check-in area at least fifteen minutes before the booked slot. The original operator says a missed tour time can lead to entry refusal without a refund. A 19:00 QR should not be treated like a theatre entry that allows arrival at 19:10.
Keep time for evening mall congestion, the walk from KLCC LRT, security scanning and any disability or age documents. Buy online via the correct operator-linked eticket2 platform and download your actual ticket rather than relying on a reservation screenshot from a third-party payment page.
Meeting point, height and tower access are different things
PETRONAS Towers rises 452 metres and links its twin towers by a Skybridge at levels 41/42, with the panoramic Observation Deck at Level 86. The publicly accessible Suria KLCC mall at the base is not automatically permission to enter the paid bridge or lift to the 86th-floor viewing area.
The published visitor start is the Lower Ground/Concourse Level within the towers. Travellers can use the KLCC LRT or GO KL buses, or approach by taxi/Grab. The transport fare, mall shopping, an independent guide and any premium evening dinner package are not part of the ordinary foreign admission.
Security, age rules and direct-seller protection
The operator excludes food, drink, gum and smoking from the visit, inspects bags, and requires children younger than twelve to be accompanied. Its rate table has foreign seniors 61+, separate child 2–12 categories and infant free categories; language varies slightly on whether a child's second birthday is included in the infant bracket, so check final checkout before assuming free.
Tickets are generally non-refundable and non-transferable, and the company warns it is not responsible for claims against unofficial vendors. The original site supplies a dedicated email for wheelchair arrangements and premium enquiries. This guide uses 2026 operator material, not a claim of availability, completed visit or a partner commission.
